Jennella graduated with Honors in Classics from Brown University, where she co-founded the Southeast Asian Coalition and received the Karen T. Romer Undergraduate Teaching and Research Award and an International Leadership Foundation [ILF] Fellowship. Â She is a 2012 J.D. candidate at Hastings College of Law, where she is an Asian Pacific American Law Students Association representative and active in the Asian Law Caucus, La Raza Law Student Association and the Pilipino American Law Society. Â She has served as a business immigration paralegal for the Boston law firm of Chin & Curtis and, as an ILF Fellow, served in the Department of Homeland Security helping to plan the rebuilding the Gulf Coast states after Hurricane Katrina. Â Her language skills include Khmer (native speaker), Latin, Ancient Greek and Spanish.
